Personal · Experienced · Fast

Ship software
faster than ever.

Persistent Software is Chris Sweigard: one senior engineer with two decades of production experience and modern tooling behind it. You get a prototype you can click in days, and the codebase itself at the end.

What you get

Full-stack builds

React and TypeScript up front, Python or Node and Postgres behind it. One person, whole stack.

Mobile apps

React Native across both stores, or native where the product genuinely needs it.

Payments

Stripe subscriptions, marketplaces and the billing edge cases nobody scopes for.

Integrations

Salesforce, Google, ClassLink, Clever — the connections that make a product usable.

Rescue work

Inherited a codebase nobody understands? That is a normal Tuesday.

Team support

Eight years leading engineers. I can hire and mentor the team that takes it over.
How a build runs
  • Step 01

    Scoping call

Thirty minutes is enough to scope most projects. You leave with a plan and a number, whether or not we work together.

  • Step 02

    Architecture and design review

The stack, the data model and the screens get decided before anything is built, and written down where you can read them.

  • Step 03

Week one: a prototype you can click

Not a mockup. A deployed application running against real data, on a URL you can send to someone else.

  • Step 04

    Weekly demos

A new build every week, in your hands. The timeline never depends on you trusting a status update.

  • Step 05

    Ship to production

Deployment, monitoring and the boring operational work that decides whether launch week is calm.

  • Step 06

    You own the codebase

The source, the accounts and the pipeline are yours at handover. One hundred percent of it, with no licence attached.

Current product

tokenlog

Currently free

by Persistent Software

Your LLM token usage in one convenient view. tokenlog by Persistent Software reads your Anthropic and OpenAI organizations, your Google Gemini project and your GitHub Copilot seats, adds up the spend each provider reports, and tells you where the month is heading before the invoice does. It is free to use right now.

Anthropic, OpenAI and GitHub Copilot connecting into tokenlog, which draws a month of token usage as a daily bar chart alongside spend and request totals.
A month of usage, on one page
Anthropic

Organization admin key. Usage and cost endpoints only.

OpenAI

Organization admin key. Usage and cost endpoints only.

Google Gemini

Read-only service account. Tokens by model, requests and rate limits; Google reports no cost here.

GitHub

OAuth sign-in, plus Copilot seat and premium-request usage.

Every provider on one page

Tokens in, out and cached, by model and by key, with each provider’s own spend numbers added up instead of read off separate billing pages.

Budgets that warn you early

Set a monthly ceiling and thresholds. Each one fires once, recorded in the app and POSTed to a webhook if you want it somewhere else.

Keys encrypted, never shown

Keys are verified once, encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they reach the database, and displayed by their last four characters afterwards.

Ninety days of history, exportable

The first sync back-fills 90 days so day one has something to compare against. Refreshes daily, and every view leaves as CSV.
